The term qigong (気功) regroups a large variety of exercices and traditions all aimed at helping cultivate good health.
We approach qigong using the principle of yangsheng gong (work to nourish vitality, nourish life). We offer a training program based primarily on a series of postural exercices of zhanzhuang named yangsheng zhuang. This set of postures are drawn from dachengquan (yiquan). Through this postural training we study directly all the fundamental principles at the source of the very old tradition of Chinese health exercises referred as qigong.
This program also includes other classic Chinese qigong exercises such as: baduanjin (eight brocades of silk) and the wuqinxi (five animals frolics). Our experience in various qigong exercices and schools spans many decades of training with a variety of teachers.
